WHO I AM

Director: Noah Berlow
Editor: Nicole Pineda
Who I am is a three-part documentary series that tells the story of four young women who have faced grave hardships including violence, poverty, sexual abuse, loss, and homelessness. This docuseries was created to raise awareness and funding for Pathways to Independence—an organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged women by providing them with housing, healthcare, and other resources to achieve self-sufficiency.

Post-Production
For this project, I was responsible for picture editing, shot selection, color-grading, and sound mixing. In addition, I worked closely with the project's director and producer of Immortal Cinema International to make the final decisions.
Research
Given that this docuseries discusses heavy topics including assault, violence, and poverty, it was essential for me conduct heavy research and to fact-check the data and statistics shown in the film.
Color-grading
After finalizing the cut, I color-graded the raw footage using Adobe Premiere Pro and used the Magic Bullet Looks plugin to smooth out any blemishes on the ladies.
